Shipping & Returns

Domestic Shipping

FoN Universe ships USPS through Pay Pal unless the buyer requests another shipping company. All purchases can be tracked through USPS.com or your Pay Pal account. FoN Universe prefers sending Priority Mail. It seems to be much more reliable. We offer first class but it is not our preferred choice of shipping, and cannot guarantee it's arrival in a timely manner.

FoN Universe is not responsible for first class items that may get lost without insurance. If you choose to ship first class, we will not have the ability to track your item and USPS only gives estimated times of arrivals, not guarantees.

FoN Universe recommends that if you purchase an item that is time sensitive for a special occasion that you pay for "Priority Mail". Many first class packages take as long as 4 weeks to arrive at their destinations.


International Shipment

FoN Universe does not suggest "First Class" shipping on international purchases. USPS does not provide any tracking for such packages and cannot print labels through Pay Pal for such purchases. This means Pay Pal will not cover any buyers protections for such transactions. International buyers should keep in mind that FoN Universe has no control over how long it might take international customers to receive items. There are many circumstances that may delay shipments such as getting caught in customs or, an unverified address.


Why your purchase may be delayed in shipping

FoN Universe strives to get all items out ASAP but, sometimes there are circumstances that may delay your purchase from being shipped. Please keep in mind that the majority of our items are hand crafted and made to order. They are not mass produced in a sweat shop somewhere in Mexico. Because of this, there may be many reasons for delays, such as:

  • Waiting for supplies to arrive for making your item
  • Buyer has not given complete and full information needed in making the item
  • There is a problem with the address listed with Pay Pal
  • Staff illnesses or personal schedules
  • We have questions about something and are getting no response from e-mails and there is no listed phone number for the buyer
  • We have an overwhelming amount of orders in at that moment. Halloween and Christmas are very busy seasons for us. We are not able to get things shipped as quickly as normal

Please keep all of these issues in mind when contacting us with problems and understand that if your item is slow in getting completed that it is only because of circumstances beyond our control.


Return & Exchange Policies

Most of what FoN Universe does is personalized items, which make it difficult to except returns. Because of this, we DO NOT except returns on items when the buyer simply did not read the description in full, and ends up with an item they didn't want. Please make sure to read all item descriptions completely before buying and do not just make assumptions from the photos. Please e-mail me if you have a problem with your item and allow me to do what I can to correct whatever may be wrong with your purchase.

FoN Universe will not except any items returned that have been used or show any signs of wear. All returns must be made within 20 business days after the item is shipped. Refunds will only be given after I have received the item. Do not expect to receive a replacement for your item without returning the unwanted item first. There will be NO exceptions on this policy whether it be our error or the buyers.

FoN Universe also reserves the right to refuse service to irate or difficult buyers that get demanding or abusive. We expect all communications to be on a mature and professional level. We will not tolerate buyers that contact us in a demanding or aggressive manner. FoN Universe will report intimidation or threats to its staff to legal authorities. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If we chose to cancel a transaction, a refund will be issued where applicable.


Shipping Costs on Returns

FoN Universe will reimburse the shipping cost on returns and exchanges only on items where we have determined an error has been made in the construction or an inaccurate description was given. Buyers that have ordered a wrong size, given incorrect measurements or misspelled a name in communications will be responsible for their own shipping cost. When returns are made, the reimbursement will only be given after the item has been returned. Pay Pal will also require buyers to return items before issuing refunds.

Although FoN Universe strives to get all shipments correct and wish our buyers to have a pleasant experience, we recognize that we are only human and have made some mistakes. However, if at any time during a transaction, we feel our staff is being treated in an unfair or abusive manner, we will cancel the order and file a claim with Pay Pal. FoN Universe makes every attempt to keep buyers satisfied but, will not tolerate foul language or unreasonable demands from buyers.
